Massage Therapist #78352
Carolyn found her passion in spa therapy after a career change. She graduated from the Blaine School of Esthetics 18 years ago becoming one of North Carolina's first licensed estheticians. She began her career at Skin Sense a Day Spa. In February 2011 she became nationally certified as a massage therapist after studying at Sanford Brown College where she trained in the medical massage modalities of neuromuscular, myofascial release, trigger point, deep tissue and western massage.
She focuses on offering pain relief, stress reduction, structural realignment, reducing scar tissue and the inflammatory response with the belief that massage can be both therapeutic and relaxing. Her philosophy is that touch is a basic human need, not a luxury and invites you to make spa services an essential part of your wellness routine.
